Adoption from Foster Care in Georgia offers a vital opportunity to provide children with the stability and love of a permanent family. As of late 2024, Georgia had approximately 10,900 children in Foster Care, with more than 400 of these children eligible for adoption.  To support Adoptive Families, the State of Georgia and Region 5 offer various services to ensure that families and youth receive the assistance they need throughout the adoption journey.
